A $25,000 bond has been set for a Finley man accused of robbing an Aneta, ND bar on Wednesday morning. Ronald Gore, 31, is charged with armed robbery after authorities say he held up the Whitetail Bar in Aneta. He appeared in Nelson County Court for a telephonic bond hearing today. He is currently being held at the Grand Forks County Correctional Center.
Authorities say Gore walked into the Whitetail Bar about 11 o'clock Wednesday morning...with a gun..demanding money. They say he fled with an undisclosed amount of cash but was later arrested about 10 miles southwest of Grand Forks. Gore was arrested by the Grand Forks County Sheriff's Department but will eventually be transferred to Nelson County.
Gore is scheduled to be in Nelson County Court for his preliminary hearing again on October 15. He could face up to 10 years in prison and a 10-thousand dollar fine.
