Grand Forks Salvation Army Giving Away Winter Clothing to Those in NeedAlready some people are gearing up for the winter months.
Already some people are gearing up for the winter months.
Once again the Salvation Army in Grand Forks is helping those in need prepare for the cold weather. Wednesday through Friday the Salvation Army is handing out coats, gloves and boots to those who need them.
"Its very rewarding to be able to help the community that is not able to provide for themselves just due to the economy and having to pay bills," said Linda Beauchamp with the Salvation Army.
The coat giveaway starts at 9 am and runs through 3 pm each day. About 400 people are expected to show up.
