MAYVILLE, N.D. (AP) - Sanford Health's newest clinic is in operation.
The 10,000-square-foot clinic in the eastern North Dakota city of Mayville is an addition to the existing hospital.
A grand opening was scheduled late Thursday. Sanford plans to donate the old clinic building back to the community.
Sanford Health was formed by the merger of two health systems in the Dakotas last year. It is headquartered in Fargo, N.D., and Sioux Falls, S.D., and has 30 hospitals, 111 clinics and more than 800 doctors in eight states. Sanford says it is the nation's largest not-for-profit rural health care provider.
