A high-risk sex offender is now living in Grand Forks.

A high-risk sex offender is now living in Grand Forks.
Police say 28-year-old Christopher Midgett was recently released from the North Dakota State Hospital.
He's now living at the Northlands Rescue Mission.
Midgett was convicted of Sexual Assault in Texas as a juvenile.
When he was 12 or 13, he engaged in sexual acts with a 5-year-old girl and an 8-year-old boy.
A more recent charge involving a 10-year-old boy in North Dakota was dismissed due to lack of evidence.
