Good Pumpkin Season This Year
When Carrie Nelson planted just a couple pumpkins 14 years ago, she didn't know it would turn into a family business.
Nelson's Pumpkin Patch used to see a couple dozen people a day...now hundreds come to find the perfect jack-o-lantern.
The Nelson family had help this year during the harvest because it was a good growing season.
They have so many pumpkins that some are still in the field.
"We've had just a wonderful year, tons and tons of pumpkins. Compared to last year it snowed and it rained and it was cold the entire season." owner Carrie Nelson said.
If a pumpkin isn't what you're looking for, the patch also has hayrides, corn mazes and haunted roads.
