A Grand Forks day-care provider accused of shaking a 4-month-old boy and causing head injuries has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Police say 27-year-old Marsha Brouillet told an officer she shook the boy without supporting his head during a moment of frustration last march.
The boy suffered a seizure the next day.
Brouillet faces a felony child abuse charge and faces up to 10 years in prison.
She is out on a 25-hundred dollar bond and will be back in court next in December.
Officials say they cannot comment on the baby's long-term diagnosis.
