Dorgan Makes Stops in Lake Region
Senator Byron Dorgan made stops in the lake region Tuesday to reassure residents that they are not along when dealing with flooding problems.

He met with Mayor Trish McQuoid and others.
Dorgan has already secured more than $300,000 to move the water tower and $6 million for the relocation of the school because of the rising Devils Lake.
He says he's stopping in Minnewaukan to reassure the community that they are not alone.
"All of us are working hard and our thoughts and prayers are with you, but more than thoughts and prayers. We're also working for concrete solutions to try to help you get through this," Dorgan said.
Dorgan, who is serving out his final weeks in office, also made a stop on the Spirit Lake Reservation where he was honored for his work on behalf of North Dakota Native Americans.
