MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Gov. Tim Pawlenty is spending another Saturday in New Hampshire, with events on tap for two Republican candidates there.

Pawlenty adviser Alex Conant says Pawlenty plans to appear at a reception for GOP congressional candidate Charlie Bass, who is campaigning for a seat he lost in 2006. The Democrat who beat him is running for the U.S. Senate.

The Minnesota governor also is expected at an evening reception for Raymond Burton, who is running for a local office.

Pawlenty was last in New Hampshire in late September. This will mark the fifth trip since he announced he wouldn't seek re-election. Pawlenty is considering a 2012 White House bid.
