UND ROTC Takes First in Ranger Challenge

The UND Ranger Challenge ranked 1st place in this year's Ranger Challenge for the 5th year in a row, placing first or second in 7 out of 9 different challenges at Camp Ripley in Minnesota.

The UND Army ROTC has come out on top once again.

The UND Ranger Challenge ranked 1st place in this year's Ranger Challenge for the 5th year in a row, placing first or second in 7 out of 9 different challenges at Camp Ripley in Minnesota.

UND competed against 12 other teams at the Ranger Challenge in challenges like physical fitness tests, weapons knowledge and ruck run.

They say it's a great honor to show the country that they have the best of the best.

Cadets say they owe it to the previous ranger challenge cadets for knowledge passed down.

The team trains every morning at 5 am for two hours to prepare for this one event.
