Minor Injuries in S. Washington Accident

One woman was transported to Altru after sustaining minor injuries in an accident on South Washington in Grand Forks.

One woman was taken to Altru for minor injuries she sustained in an accident around 3 pm Tuesday in Grand Forks.

64 year-old Kathleen Tollefson was driving south on Washington when she failed to stop at a red light. Tollefson then struck a Pontiac driven by 22-year-old Amie Salvhus of Grand Forks, who was driving east on 24th Avenue Sotuh.

Tollefson was treated at the scene of the accident by Atru, as was her passenger. Salvhus was taken to Altru for minor injuries.

Tollefson was cited for not stopping at a red light and being an unqualified driver.
