GF Man Who Plead Guilty to Shaking Baby Gets Probation

A Grand Forks man who plead guilty to shaking his infant son, causing a fractured rib, has been sentenced to probation.

A Grand Forks man who plead guilty to shaking his infant son, causing a fractured rib, has been sentenced to probation.

Kyle Danaher will serve three years of probation, two of those under electronic home monitoring, for charges of child abuse and neglect.

Police say he got frustrated with his 6-week-old baby and shook him.

Part of his sentence will be served in Grand Forks, until he is transferred to his home state of North Carolina.

Danaher will be required to complete anger management and parenting classes. He will have to register as an offender against children under 12.

His sentence begins immediately.
