There is a big emphasis on hand washing and sanitizers with the growing number of flu cases.
And that includes food buffets. Many restaurants with buffets are now placing hand sanitizers out for customers. Owner of the Italian Moon Ken Towers says because of different customers touching the same utensils and ladles, sanitizers make good sense.
Ken Towers: "How important it is to do the hand sanitizer, and to make sure the hand washing increases over what is was before."
Towers who also owns the Wendy's restaurants in Grand Forks says the restaurant chain has taken extra steps to make sure employees are washing their hands correctly.
