All departures and arrivals for Delta flights at the Grand Forks Airport were canceled Tuesday night because of weather conditions.

All departures and arrivals for Delta flights at the Grand Forks Airport were canceled Tuesday night because of weather conditions.

According to the Grand Forks International Airport's website, two departures for Wednesday are also canceled. The 5:05 and 6:05 AM flights are the only ones listed as canceled as of Tuesday night.

Rain turning to snow will make some travel difficult over the next day or so. A travel alert was issued for some areas of North Dakota. Devils Lake is one of seven North Dakota cities placed under the alert.

The North Dakota Department of Transportation issued the alert for high winds and blowing snow, which may reduce visibility.

Cities in the travel alert are: Fargo, Wahpeton, Valley City, Jamestown, Devils Lake, Bismarck, and Minot.

During a travel alert, conditions still allow drivers to travel, but they should be aware of rapidly changing conditions, which could result in delays or road closures.
