Senator Kent Conrad Endorses Earl Pomeroy

Polls show Representative Earl Pomeroy is in a tight race to get re-elected, and Thursday he got some help from Senator Kent Conrad.

Conrad was at UND to show his support for Earl Pomeroy for Congress.

Conrad says he's never seen anyone do as much for North Dakota as Representative Pomeroy. He says Pomeroy helped get money for flood protection in Grand Forks after the flood of '97 and helped save the Grand Forks Air Force Base.

Conrad says you can't pass up someone with his experience.

"I would just say any new congressman is going to take a decade to have the kind of influence necessary to get the kind of results Congressman Pomeroy has results," said Senator Kent Conrad.

Conrad says he'll be visiting the four major cities in North Dakota again before November 2nd.
