The F-B-I is searching the Red River for a gun used in the recent Gilby bank robbery.

FBI divers and members of the Grand Forks County Sheriff's Department dive team were searching the Red River by the Kennedy Bridge today.

Divers took turns in the water looking for what is believed to be one of the guns used in the Gilby bank robbery earlier this year.

Two men have been charged in the robbery... Clifton Patterson and William Collins are both charged with bank robbery and using a firearm in a crime of violence.

Authorities say the men went into the Bremer Bank in Gilby with guns and demanded money.

Court documents say they got away with 50-thousand dollars.

Authorities have recovered one of the guns thought to be used in the robbery... A black, handgun style B-B gun.

The shotgun seen in the surveillance photos has not been found.
