UND to Make "Major Announcement" at Monday News Conference

The University of North Dakota will make what it calls a "major announcement" regarding conference affiliation on Monday. UND is expected to announce it will join the BIg Sky Conference.
UND will hold a news conference at 3:00 p.m. in the lobby of the Betty Engelstad Sioux Center. The public is invited.
On Friday, UND announced it had canceled a scheduled on-campus visit by Summit League officials. That visit was to take place Monday and Tuesday.
The Big Sky Conference includes football, which the Summit League does not.
UND is currently a member of the Great West Conference.
