Dunseith Man Killed in Rollover Near Rugby

Authorities say a 46-year-old man from Dunseith, ND was killed when his '97 GMC Jimmy rolled about 6 miles north of Rugby.

Authorities say a 46-year-old man from Dunseith, ND was killed when his '97 GMC Jimmy rolled about 6 miles north of Rugby.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol says the man was a passenger in the vehicle. The driver, a 34-year-old man also from Dunseith, was injured and taken to Heart of America Hospital and then airlifted to Trinity Hospital in Minot.

Authorities say the two were traveling north on Highway 3 north of Rugby when their vehicle entered the west ditch and rolled several times.

Both of the men were wearing seat belts.

The crash is under investigation and names are being withheld pending notification of the families.
