FARGO, N.D. (AP) - North Dakota harvest generally remains ahead of schedule despite last week's snowfall.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture said Monday in its weekly crop and weather report that the corn harvest is still about two weeks ahead of average. But the sunflower harvest fell behind the average because of the storms.

Before last week's snow and freezing rain farmers made good progress on the harvest thanks to three weeks of favorable weather.

The corn harvest is about 67 percent complete. The sunflower harvest is about 51 percent done.
