East Grand Forks, Minn. (WDAY TV) - An East Grand Forks man was sentenced to 15 years in prison for sexually abusing a girl over the course of several years.
41-year-old Paulino Bernal pleaded guilty to first-degree criminal sexual conduct and third-degree criminal sexual conduct. Three other charges against him were dropped.
According to records, the abuse started when the victim was 8-years old. Now 17, the victim reported the abuse to police in August. Bernal will have to register as a predatory offender.
