Walsh Co. Deputy Fired After Losing Election Against Boss
A Walsh County Deputy Sheriff has been released from his job after losing the race for the county's Sheriff seat to his boss, Sheriff Lauren Wild.
A Walsh County Deputy Sheriff has been released from his job after losing the race for the county's Sheriff seat to his boss, Sheriff Lauren Wild.
Former deputy Ron Nord says Wild fired him for "lies from the campaign," although Nord says that Wild would not elaborate.
According to Nord he was fired around 8 am Wednesday morning.
Nord has been with the sheriff's department for nearly 20 years.
