North Dakota Democratic Representative Earl Pomeroy says House Speaker Nancy Pelosi shouldn't run for House minority leader.
Democrats lost their House majority in the election, and Pelosi says she'll run for Democratic minority leader.
Pomeroy was one of several democrats linked to the liberal California congresswoman during campaign ads.
He lost to Republican Rick Berg last week.
Pomeroy says he wouldn't support Pelosi if he were coming back to Congress.
He says, "When the team gets thumped, maybe the coach ought to go."
