BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - Officials have broken ground for a new University of North Dakota Center for Family Medicine in Bismarck.
The three-story, $5.4 million facility is an effort involving the Grand Forks university and the two hospitals in Bismarck. It will replace a facility UND is renting.
The state Legislature last year approved money for the center, which should be finished in about a year. It will be near both hospitals and will serve as a clinic where medical students in a three-year residency program are educated and trained.
