The Veteran's Day program at the American Legion in Larimore is especially important to a soldier who served many years ago.

85-year-old Duane Mutch served in World War Two and says he doesn't see many veterans from that war these days.

Events like this give Mutch and others the chance to tell their stories and remember the time they served.

Mutch says this day means a lot to him for many different reasons and reminds people about what soldiers have gone through.

"Well, it's kind of reminiscing of all your battle problems and what not and I was in Patton's Third Army and the Battle Of The Bulge in Central Europe." veteran Duane Mutch said.

Mutch says he served for more than 2 years and remembers the good times he had while overseas.

More than 2-hundred people came to the Veteran's Day program in Larimore to support area veterans and soldiers.

The program included a prayer, video presentation and a turkey supper.
