Crash Kills Dickinson Man; Driver Suspected of DUI

DICKINSON, N.D. (AP) — A 41-year-old Dickinson man is dead after a one-vehicle crash, and the driver is charged with suspected drunken driving.
The state Highway Patrol says 36-year-old Marty Steidl of Dickinson was driving north on 121st Avenue from South Heart to Dickinson about 6 p.m. Saturday when his Chrysler Sebring went onto the left shoulder of the road.
Steidl overcorrected to the right, causing the Sebring to slide into the ditch and roll over. The car came to rest on the roof.
Steidl and a 27-year-old passenger were uninjured. The 41-year-old passenger was pronounced dead at a Dickinson hospital.
The identity of the man who died has not been released.
