Golden Corral Serves Free Meal to Military

Decked out in red, white and blue decorations, The Golden Corral in Grand Forks showed their appreciation for the United States Military.

Decked out in red, white and blue decorations, The Golden Corral in Grand Forks showed their appreciation for the United States Military.

The buffet is celebrating their 10th Annual Military Appreciation Day.

Golden Corrals all over the country celebrate men and women who have served their country by serving them a free meal.

For five hours on November 15, any military person, whether a veteran or on active duty, ate for free.

The Golden Corral gets a lot of positive feedback for honoring the military.

"Everybody is here and shakes our hands and 'we thank you'. But, just one meal is not enough for what they've done for us," said General Manager Rickey Ward.

Ward says they gave out 600 free meals in Grand Forks last year.
