Three injured in two-vehicle crash near Park Rapids, Minn.

PARK RAPIDS, Minn. – Two people were brought to a Fargo hospital and another person also was hurt in a two-vehicle, serious-injury crash Thursday near Park Rapids, the Minnesota State Patrol said.

A 1992 Honda Accord was northbound on Hubbard County Road 11 at about 5:31 p.m. when it failed to stop at a stop sign and broadsided a 1998 GMC Safari that was westbound on State Highway 87, the patrol stated in a news release.

The Honda’s driver, Colleen Conley, 53, of Sebeka, and her passenger, Rachel Faulk, 27, of Brainerd, were hospitalized at Essentia Health in Fargo. Nancy Dero, 54, of Menahga, who was driving the Safari, was hospitalized at Essentia Health St. Mary’s in Detroit Lakes.

Their injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.

The Hubbard County Sheriff’s Office and Park Rapids Police Department assisted the patrol.
