A victim claims he was assaulted when he confronted people who were breaking into a car.
The West Fargo Police Department wants the public to know that, despite the assault, community members shouldn't be alarmed."

28 year-old Francisco Trujillo claims he was stabbed around three this morning at 608 2nd Avenue East in West Fargo. But police say it may not be a stabbing, but another kind of injury... They plan to do more interviews to learn more about what happened. The victim claims three suspects attacked him after Trujillo confronted them for breaking into a car. Police are asking community members to call anytime they feel a crime is taking place.
