The Devils Lake Kiwanis are getting ready for their annual Thanksgiving day dinner.
The Club has been serving a Thanksgiving meal for the community since the 1960's.
Last year, the Kiwanis served more than 250 people and even though a storm has been forecast for the holiday, they expect about the same this year.
Everything is bought and prepared from scratch by members of the Kiwanis.
The meal includes all of the Thanksgiving trimmings.
There will be a free-will offering.
"It's more of a donation to the community for everything the community has given the Kiwanis through out the years," explains Al Freidig, longtime Kiwanis member.
The Kiwanis also serves meals to the Lake Region Re-Entry Center.
