Black Friday shoppers crowded the aisles not only for the doorbusters, but for the soon-to-be hard-to-find hot items.

While TV's could still be considered the hot item, Christmas shoppers may be a little more interested in putting family and friends on existing big screens with digital and video cameras.

"More of the younger generations are getting them. Like the tweens are getting those. A lot for the holidays this season, so you will see those flying of the shelves," Best Buy employee Celeste Breffle said.

There is a new comer that will be under the tree the year.

"This year it would be more be ereaders. They are definitely one of the top items," Breffle said.

Among all the must-have merchandise there will still be those gifts where it is the thought that counts.

Retailers say most of the gifts that are very popular are still on the shelf. And don't anticipate any real shortages of any one gift.
