A new book released on the disapperance of Jodi Huisentruit

The cold case has baffled investigators for 16-years. Where is Jodi Huisentruit?

The 27-year old news anchor from Mason City, Iowa disappeared in 1995 on her way to work. Now, a new book reveals chilling details, and may spark new interest in the case.It's been plastered all over national and local TV after the 1995 disappearance. Still no answer to the big question...Where's Jodi?

Beth Bednar: "I would love it if this book would spark some memories among people and cause them to talk."

It's a book detailing mysterious circumstances leading up to and after the disappearance of Jodi Huisentruit. Some details never released to the public. Author Beth Bednar, a former TV anchor from Austin Minnesota and colleague of Jodi, writes even of a possible suspect.

Beth Bednar: "He however, over the years has been linked to 5-disappearance and or deaths."

Dozens of people bought the book at a Fargo book signing. People still intrigued by the case after the intense news coverage 16-years ago.

Patrick Walker: "I remembered all the unique circumstances and how she was a newscaster and how she kind of disappeared."

After support from Jodi's family and friends, Bedner decided to publish Dead Air back in May...In hopes of the cold case being broken by a book hot off the press.

Beth Bedner: "if I could think of one perfect scenario out of all of this is that somebody would come forward with information and they can crack this thing wide open again."
