Dog helps readers feel more confident

Grand Forks, ND (WDAY TV) - Children in Grand Forks had a fun chance to work with dogs to improve their reading skills.

The READ dog helped readers feel more confident reading out loud. The therapy dog visits the library on the second Monday and Tuesday of each month in the summer.

Roxanne Melberg - THERAPY TEAM WITH DOG: "It's really interesting to watch the kids just kind of lose themselves in petting and reading to the dog. And they do, it's amazing how well they do."

You can schedule an appointment to work with the dog.
