BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — A North Dakota board has affirmed recount results in a state Senate race in Wahpeton, and North Dakota House races in Fargo and Grand Forks.

Republican Larry Luick defeated incumbent Democrat Arden Anderson by 36 votes in the state Senate race in District 25, which includes Wahpeton and eastern Richland County.

In Fargo, incumbent Democratic Rep. Ed Gruchalla beat Republican Andrew Marschall by eight votes.

In Grand Forks, incumbent Democratic Rep. Lois Delmore defeated Republican challenger Don Dietrich by five votes.

There was a dispute about whether fewer than 10 votes in the Grand Forks race should be counted, but Dietrich says he's not likely to go to court. He says it "wouldn't serve any good purpose."

The North Dakota state canvassing board affirmed the recount results Monday.
