Fargo woman has baby in back seat of car

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - What a way to come into the world! Baby Kristopher Bartsh was delivered in the back seat of his mother Angela's car.

What a way to come into the world! Baby Kristopher Bartsh was delivered in the back seat of his mother Angela's car. Angela and her sister were on the way to the hospital when Angela told her sister to pull the car over, the baby was coming now. When the ambulance crew arrived, Angela was in the back seat ready to push. Her baby arrived about four minutes later.

Angela Bartsh – Had baby in back seat: “I expected a hospital with doctors and nurses and the baby being monitored at all times to make sure everything was OK with him. This is the last thing I expected.”

Paramedics Melanie Hugo, Rick Cameron, Paul Bekkerus and paramedic student Nicole Smith were all given the Early Bird Award for delivering the baby in the field.
