Minnesota State Moorhead said Friday it has $15 million of the $37 million needed to add a men and women's Division I college hockey program.
Dragons athletic director Doug Peters said the school has a "three-month" window to add a men and women's Division I college hockey program.
The Dragons have been exploring the addition of having a college hockey team since April 2009.
