The snow continues to blow in the Grand Forks area. That's making it even harder for snow removers to do their jobs.
"I am a designated shoveler," said Elly Morrison, owner of Quality Lawncare.
Not everyone gets to use the fancy snow blower machines, but Elly Morrison with Quality Lawncare in Grand Forks says that doesn't make her job any less important. With the blowing snow, she's been busy all day.
"We start at 3 or 4 in the morning, get it done once, then it keeps on snowing then you go back out again and it's just over and over," said Morrison.
Morrison says it's been an unusual November with the large amount of winter weather in the past few weeks.
"It's been crazy the past two weeks we have been out four times last week and and now today, just a real crazy time of year for us," said Krisjan Olifson who removes snow for Quality Lawncare.
Olifson and Morrison say the job has its perks but also its low points.
"We dread the city plows, more than anything else. We usually get our stuff done then we have to go clean up plow ridges and stuff," said Morrison.
"It's usually the cars in the driveway when I'm trying to blow around them," said Olifson.
But for Olifson, being out in this freezing weather is something he actually looks forward to.
"Its kinda fun actually going through all the snow and seeing which way the wind blew it today and how high its going to be today," said Olifson.
Those with Quality Lawn Care say their job isn't over until mother nature says they're done.
