An announcement is expected Monday about plans for a new football stadium in Winnipeg.
The Winnipeg Free Press is reporting the city, the province and the Blue Bombers will present a package to city council that would see the Manitoba government front most of the 190-million dollars in construction costs.
The deal calls for the Blue Bombers to pay back a 70-million dollar loan that will be guaranteed by the province.
The city is to contribute seven million dollars from the sale of the Canad Inns Stadium stadium site.
