A jury has found a Crookston man guilty of rape.

Patrick Scott Junior was found guilty of both counts of first degree criminal sexual conduct against him.

It took the jury 3 hours to return their verdict tonight.

The Polk County Sheriff's Department says Scott took a 24-year-old woman from her home in Winger to some nearby woods and raped her.

The woman escaped and reported it to the sheriff's department.

Scott faces up to 30 years in prison on each count.
