Four Injured in Three-Vehicle Accident Near Devils Lake

Four people were hurt in a three-vehicle accident on Highway 2, west of Devils Lake Tuesday night.

A car driven by 19-year-old Karl Buechler of Minot was stalled on the eastbound shoulder of the highway, behind another car, which had arrived to help tow the stalled car back to Minot.

Before that could happen, a pickup driven by 44-year-old Michael Wavra of East Grand Forks rear-ended the stalled vehicle, which in turn hit the second vehicle.
