A high-risk sex offender has been released from jail and is now living in Grand Forks.

The Grand Forks Police Department says Robert Salinas, 32, is currently living at 2201 Gateway Dr. Apt. 207.

In 1996, Salinas was convicted of 1st degree criminal sexual conduct. Salinas entered an 11-year-old girl's bedroom in Polk County, removed her pajamas and had sex with her.
