Emerado Mobile Home Destroyed In Fire

The Emerado Fire Department was called to the scene of a trailer home on fire Thursday night at about 9:00pm in Acks trailer park in Emerado. No one was hurt. The trailer home is a complete loss.

The Emerado Fire Department and Grand Forks County Sheriff's Department were called to the scene of a trailer home on fire Thursday night at about 9:00pm in Acks trailer park in Emerado. No one was hurt. The trailer home is a complete loss. Emerado Police Chief Tim Gillespie says neighbors spotted the trailer fully engulfed in flames and called 911. He says there was no one home at the time, but that several cats died in the fire. He says that they are investigating the fire as arson, and the State Fire Marshal will be investigating Friday.
