A Hillsboro native has been formally indicted in South Dakota on charges she murdered her husband.
Amanda Kurowski-Kaur, 27, is charged in Pennington County, South Dakota with first degree premeditated murder. Her bond is set at $1 million dollars.
She is charged in the Nov. 28 death of her husband, 26-year-old Ira Kaur at the couple's home in New Underwood. Authorities allege she shot her husband in the head, took her children out for breakfast then shot him a second time several hours later.
Ira Kaur was a sergeant at Ellsworth Air Force Base which is near Rapid City, South Dakota.
He was also stationed at Grand Forks Air Force Base from 2005 to 2007.
Amanda Kaur could face the death penalty or life in prison without parole if convicted.
