Two Children Die In Collision at U.S. Highway 2 and Airport Road Intersection

Two children are dead after a semi-van collision near the Grand Forks International Airport. The Highway Patrol says the two children were in the van. The driver of the van, a 39-year-old man, is hurt, along with another child.

Two children are dead after a semi-van collision near the Grand Forks International Airport.

The Highway Patrol says the two children were in the van. The driver of the van, a 39-year-old man, is hurt, along with another child. The two children killed were 5 and 8 years old. The injured child was a 3-year-old.

The driver of the semi, a 64-year-old man from Jamestown, is also injured.

The accident happened at the intersection of Highway 2 and Airport Road shortly before 10 am December 22. The intersection is controlled by traffic lights.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
