Man Accused of Shooting Over a Dozen Shots Outside GF Bar Waives Preliminary Hearing

A Grand Forks man who faces multiple charges for firing a handgun while leaving a Grand Forks bar has waived his preliminary hearing. 31-year-old Ut Muoi Ngo is charged with reckless endangerment and having a firearm at a bar or gaming site.

A Grand Forks man who faces multiple charges for firing a handgun while leaving a Grand Forks bar has waived his preliminary hearing.

31-year-old Ut Muoi Ngo is charged with reckless endangerment and having a firearm at a bar or gaming site.

Police say shortly after midnight December 6th, Ngo fired 14 rounds into the air outside Southgate Casino.

No one was hurt.

Police say there was no confrontation with anyone at the bar as the suspect left out the front door.

About 10 people witnessed the shooting.

They quickly called police, who tracked down Ngo.

Ngo will be back in court January 5th.
