(WDAY TV) -- A decade ago today, Bio-warfare was something people had only seen in movies. But on October 15th 2001, Chris VendeVenter of Bismarck lived it. Vendeventer was working for Senator Tom Daschel when a letter containing Anthrax was delivered to the office. 28 of his co-workers tested postive for Anthrax. He still has the tie he wore that day and says it's serves as reminder of how quickly things can change.

Chris VendeVenter - Received Anthrax Letter: “For us we had just gone down to 9/11 a month before and for this to happen it was almost like our own 9/11. It didn't affect us well. You are in a state of shock some on is trying to kill you for whatever reason." None of his co-workers contracted Anthrax.
