BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — The two governors in the Dakotas have made a friendly wager on the outcome of Saturday's football game between North Dakota State and South Dakota State.
North Dakota Gov. Jack Dalrymple is putting some North Dakota-made pasta on the line, while South Dakota Gov. Dennis Daugaard is betting a smoked pheasant dinner.
SDSU will host the game. NDSU hasn't won in Brookings since 1999, but the Bison this year are undefeated and the fifth-ranked Football Championship Subdivision team in the country. The Jackrabbits have won only two of their seven games.
