Snowmobile Sales are Good in the Lake Region

Those that asked for a white Christmas in the Lake Region certainly got it and we've heard plenty about the trouble the more than 23 inches that fell.

But what about those who are actually enjoying the snow?

Mark Olson is the owner of M and M Performance in Devils Lake.

He says not only does he enjoy the snow, but it's also great for business.

Olson says snowmobile sales are above average thanks to the early snowfall.

Winter clothing is also selling exceptionally well.

"Clothing sales have been brisk, helmet sales, all the Christmas stuff we sold this year, it's just hugely ahead of last year," Olson said.

Snowmobile trails 1 and 3 in the Lake Region are open and trail 4 is in the process of opening.
