Grand Forks man sentenced for fire at Fargo apartment
FARGO, N.D. (AP) — A Grand Forks man has been sentenced for starting a fire at the door of his ex-girlfriend's Fargo apartment a year ago. Twenty-four-year-old Jamey Kinney was ordered to serve two years in prison and three years on supervised probation.

Twenty-four-year-old Jamey Kinney was ordered to serve two years in prison and three years on supervised probation.
Kinney was accused of starting the fire in November 2010 at the door of the apartment where his ex-girlfriend and son were living. Police say the mother and boy escaped out a window.
The Forum reports (http://bit.ly/v5L9Mu) that Kinney pleaded guilty to felony arson. The judge ordered him to follow the recommendations of psychological and chemical dependency evaluations and to have no unapproved contact with the victims.
