Walcott, ND, Man Injured in I-94 Pileup Dies
A Walcott, N.D., man seriously injured last week in the Interstate 94 crash involving 100 vehicles has died.By: Forum Communications Report,
FARGO – A Walcott, N.D., man seriously injured last week in the Interstate 94 crash involving 100 vehicles has died.
Lowell Balk, 50, died Monday in Essentia Health in Fargo, according to a death notice received by The Forum.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol said Balk was struck by a vehicle after he left his semi to help other motorists.
A funeral has been scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday at Walcott Lutheran Church.
