Domestic Violence & Abuse Center In Grafton Re-OpensThe Grafton Domestic Violence and Abuse Center is re-opening.
The Center has been closed since July and are hopefully opening soon.
The Center was able to rearrange its Justice Assistance Grant to allow for part time help rather than full time.
Since the shelter has been closed it had to turn away about 8 women looking for help.
The center had to close its doors since July because of lack of funding for operation and were coming short on bills.
Director Jolene Halldorson say they hope to open soon.
"The one thing that's holding me back from opening the shelter today is having the staff to run it. We need to have house parents here in the evenings and on the weekends," said Halldorson.
The shelter is still looking for donations to keep them in operation for years to come.
