Circle of Friends Humane Society Staying Full Year-Round

The Circle of Friends Humane Society in Grand Forks doubles as the city pound which keeps its cages and kennels full.

The Circle of Friends Humane Society in Grand Forks doubles as the city pound which keeps its cages and kennels full.

With 125 kennels and cages, they still manage to fill up with strays, unwanted pets and some who need home.

The humane society gets 35 new animals every week.

Some dogs can go to different breeders rescue but for those working at the shelter it's a sad sight see so many animals come through their doors.

"There are so many stray animals out there, and they need to have somewhere else to go, and that's our purpose, our mission, as a humane society is to care for those strays," said Arlette Moen, Circle of Friends Executive Director.

You can check up on the latest pets available for adoption at the Circle of Friends Humane Society Website.
